A Calling More Than 20 Years in the Making
For Roger, kids ministry isn't simply something he does — it's been part of his calling for more than 20 years.
Roger's life was radically transformed by Jesus in 2005, and shortly afterward, he stepped into serving in children's ministry. What began as an opportunity to serve quickly became a passion for reaching kids, strengthening families, and developing leaders.
Over the years, Roger has served in leadership roles including Kids Pastor, Children's Pastor, Next Gen Pastor, and Executive Pastor. Through those experiences, he has seen nearly every side of ministry — the incredible Sundays, the growing teams, the life-changing moments with kids, and also the volunteer shortages, difficult conversations, overwhelming weeks, and moments when leaders wonder if they can keep going.
That experience is the heartbeat behind Coaching KidMin.
Roger has a passion for building teams, developing leaders, creating healthy ministry systems, improving the guest experience, and helping churches move beyond simply providing childcare toward intentionally discipling the next generation.
His coaching style combines practical ministry experience with something else he loves: sports and coaching. Because great coaches don't just call plays — they develop people. They recognize potential, build culture, encourage their team, make adjustments, and help others succeed.
Roger believes KidMin leaders should do the same.
